OUR VOLUNTEERS AND OPERATIONS TEAM

Our Club is powered by volunteers.

Behind everything we do – from patrols and lifesaving to Nippers, training, surf sports, events and looking after our facilities – is a team of people who generously give their time, skills and energy to our Club.

How our club works

Our Board is responsible for the governance and overall direction of the Club, including making key decisions and ensuring the Club is well managed and working towards its goals.

Supporting the Board is our Operations Team – the volunteer leaders who help make things happen day to day. The Operations Team oversees the different areas of Club life, including lifesaving and patrols, training and education, Nippers, surf sports, facilities, administration and other activities that keep our Club running.

Together, our Board, Operations Team and wider volunteer community work to create a safe, welcoming and active Club for our members and the broader community.

Get Involved

You don't need to be on the Board or hold a leadership position to make a difference at our Club.

Our Club relies on volunteers contributing in all sorts of ways – some take on leadership roles, some support a particular area or activity, and others simply lend a hand when they can.

If you have skills or experience you'd like to share, want to support one of our existing volunteers, or simply have some time to contribute, we'd love to hear from you.

Speak with one of our Operations Team leaders or a member of the Board to find out how you can get involved.
