POLAR BEAR SWIM

Every year our Surf Club runs the Polar Bear Swim! This is our super fun event to celebrate the Winter solstice, where you perform a swim in the ocean, the only rule: no wetsuits allowed! The Swim is a massive event as people love to have a bit of fun and get dressed up, and this is for the whole community, not just our club members. We have awards for the best dressed and the first to exit from the swim. We usually also have some hot food and drinks afterwards to warm you back up!

Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, the Polar Bear Swim was not held in 2020 but we are very hopeful to start back up again in 2021.
