safety

safety

Nothing is more precious to us than the well-being of our members. I implore you to think about what you are doing and ensure that it makes sense; and if it does involve a measure of risk, that you work a way to do it smarter. The most dangerous justification is that 'we have always done it this way'; sometimes there's a good reason - often not.

As the club safety officer my job is to keep an eye out across all our activities to ensure that we remain safe; however I cannot do this alone. I ask all of you - especially those new to the club - to keep an eye out for those hazards/ activities that place our members at undue risk and  share your concerns with those around you, team leaders or myself via gcoward@haywards-steel.com

Know your own skills and limitations, and of those in your care.

As a director I have access to the Board and will ensure that your concerns are appropriately treated.
