safety
Nothing is more precious to us than the well-being of our members. I implore you to think about what you are doing and ensure that it makes sense; and if it does involve a measure of risk, that you work a way to do it smarter. The most dangerous justification is that 'we have always done it this way'; sometimes there's a good reason - often not.
As the club safety officer my job is to keep an eye out across all our activities to ensure that we remain safe; however I cannot do this alone. I ask all of you - especially those new to the club - to keep an eye out for those hazards/ activities that place our members at undue risk and share your concerns with those around you, team leaders or myself via
Know your own skills and limitations, and of those in your care.
As a director I have access to the Board and will ensure that your concerns are appropriately treated.
