With a new Surf Club building on the horizon, we have a unique opportunity to imagine what comes next - for members, volunteers, and the wider community.
The Club is hosting a series of workshops to celebrate our strengths, embrace change, and co-create a shared vision for the future.
Workshop 1 – Celebrating Our Purpose, Shaping Our Future
Tuesday, 9 December 2025
This first workshop is for club members. Let's get together at 5pm for a FREE BBQ followed by the workshop starting at 6pm.
Join us as we reflect on our story, our people, and the purpose that has guided us for more than 40 years. Together, we’ll explore what makes our club special and how we bring our culture, spirit, and values with us into our new home.

Why we do what we do
What we love most about our surf club
How we stay connected and strong through change
What’s Next
A community workshop will follow early in 2026. We will be inviting the wider public to help shape how the new clubhouse and community building can become a shared space for connection, partnership, and activity.
Together we’ll look at:
How community groups and locals can use the space
How we build strong and lasting partnerships
Ideas we care enough to act on - and how to make them real
Why It Matters
The new Boat Harbour Beach Surf Club is more than a building - it’s a chance to reimagine what we can achieve together.
These workshops are about celebrating what we value, preparing for change, and shaping new opportunities for everyone who loves Boat Harbour - whether as a member, local, or visitor.
